Our Feedback Continues to Be Phenomenal....
"Incredibly interesting and informative...inspirational and clearly a role model to young people..." I attended training ran by Junior Smart, which I found to be incredibly interesting and informative. I felt that Junior was inspirational and that he is clearly an incredible role model to young people.
Laura P Consultant Social Worker Bedfordshire "So few speakers can stimulate us intellectually, move us emotionally, and at the same time inspire us to go out and be better, more committed and effective practitioners...." I just wanted to pass on a huge thank you for coming to speak to us yesterday. I'm having loads of positive feedback from staff and students. 'Inspiring' and 'We must him back' are the words most commonly used.
In terms of feedback all I can say is that so few speakers can stimulate us intellectually, move us emotionally, and at the same time inspire us to go out and be better, more committed and effective practitioners. I have also had a request from a student that she has a copy of your slides. Would you be happy to email them over, if that's Ok with you. Thanks again. Rhian Taylor Kent University "....genuinely inspiring. I cannot thank you enough...." Dear Junior,
I just wanted to drop you a line to thank you so very much for your presentation to Hampshire Police on Monday. I have been overwhelmed with phenomenally positive feedback from attendees from teams across the Force about your talk. You really created a buzz and enthusiasm amongst us for the work you do and we all found it incredibly useful and genuinely inspiring. I cannot thank you enough. "Everyone I spoke to said that J’s speech was the best part of the day & people seemed motivated to want to get support for young people in herts linked to gangs or at risk." I saw J Smart speak today at the HSCB conference & just wanted to email & say how brilliant & inspirational J was.
I used to work in probation with young women across London so I’ve had some experience with gangs and the effects but J’s speech was amazing to hear! Everyone I spoke to said that J’s speech was the best part of the day & people seemed motivated to want to get support for young people in herts linked to gangs or at risk. This was the best keynote speech I’ve ever heard, Thank you! Kirsty Senior Outreach Worker Hertfordshire "Junior was able to present his material in a way that fully engaged our students...." Thank you so much for your delivery today, the feedback from the teams was extremely positive. You are a great motivator and an inspiration when sharing with others..I hope that you achieve all your goals.
Kind regards Debi Copeland Head of Learning Support Portsmouth College "Junior was able to present his material in a way that fully engaged our students...." The sessions delivered by Junior Smart exceeded the school's expectations. The content of Junior's material was not only relevant to our student's lives, but was also delivered in a manner that made that content easily accessible and understood.
We are an SEBD (SEMH) provision, which means our students find it quite often difficult to focus and concentrate. Junior was able to present his material in a way that fully engaged our students. We have requested that Junior deliver more sessions at our school when funding become available. We feel that he will become a valuable resource, especially for our cohort who are in greater danger of gang involvement and affiliation. We really couldn't recommend Junior Smart highly enough. Mr. Kris Dunnage Head of Humanities & PSHE Coordinator. "...we were all deeply moved and inspired by your words...." Dear Junior,
On behalf of StreetDoctors I would like to thank you for speaking at our national conference on Sunday. I think you could probably tell by the response of the volunteers that we were all deeply moved and inspired by your words. Your encouragement on the potential importance of the teaching we deliver has left a lasting impression; (you have been quoted all over our Facebook pages) and I think your stories will stay with volunteers for a very long time.
