Serious Youth Violence and CCE Training
Serious youth violence and child criminal exploitation can create a wide range of complex emotions for practitioners, young people, families and communities. These issues operate on multiple levels and are often intensified by peer dynamics, fear, coercion and the pressures young people face in unfamiliar or high‑risk environments.
This course aims to equip participants with a clear understanding of the factors that drive exploitation and violence, and the role they can play in either reducing or escalating risk. Throughout the training day, participants will engage with interactive material, real‑world scenarios and practical tools to build their confidence, strengthen safeguarding responses and support young people more effectively.

Managing and Dealing with Challenging Behaviour

Conflict can create all sorts of complex emotions for the practitioner, service user, young person or families.. Conflict can take place on a multitude of levels and can be exacerbated within groups and different or unfamiliar settings such as 'residentials'.

This course aims to equip participants with the understanding of the background to conflict and the contribution they can make to either calming or escalating a confrontation.
During the training day participants will engage with interactive material, learning and practising key skills to build their confidence and to maintain composure whilst de-escalating conflict.

Child Sexual Exploitation (CSE) Training Sessions
Child sexual exploitation (CSE) is a type of sexual abuse in which children are sexually exploited for money, power or status.

Children or young people may be tricked into believing they're in a loving, consensual relationship. They might be invited to parties and given drugs and alcohol. They may also be groomed online.

Our training can help those working with young deemed at risk of CSE and SE to increase their awareness and improve their outcomes of the young people they work.

Webinar Sessions
In response to growing demand from practitioners and organisations, we now offer a series of online courses designed for those who prefer - or require - remote learning.

These sessions follow a refreshed, interactive format that keeps learning focused, engaging, and accessible. Each webinar is delivered as a half‑day session to ensure clarity, energy, and maximum impact without overwhelming participants.

What makes this offer unique is its flexibility. You shape the learning outcomes, meaning every session is tailored to the needs of the group. Before booking, we encourage teams to consider the areas they most want to explore so the training can be fully aligned with their priorities.

Topics are not limited — if you have a specific subject in mind, we can create or adapt content to meet your needs.

  • Improve multi-agency collaboration
  • Prevent burnout and secondary trauma
Delivered either face to face or password protected online spaces, they can be focussed either on the practitoner or the client being supported. Sessions can be booked in either 60 to 90 mins slots and longer for teams.

Consultancy & Strategic Support
Safeguarding and youth justice work can raise complex challenges for teams, services, and organisations. Pressures around risk, decision‑making, policy, and multi‑agency coordination can escalate quickly — especially when working with young people affected by violence, exploitation, and trauma.

Our consultancy offer provides clear, grounded support to help organisations strengthen their responses and improve outcomes. This includes case reviews, peer reviews, and strategic guidance that help teams identify what’s working, where the gaps are, and how practice can be strengthened.

During consultancy sessions, organisations receive tailored advice, practical recommendations, and a trauma‑informed perspective that builds confidence, improves consistency, and supports safer, more effective decision‑making across the system.
